Insurance companies have known about the benefits of IR inspection for many years. With the NFPA estimating that 73% of all electrical fires could be averted by the implementation of an effective IR inspection program, it is easy to see why.
Many insurance companies require infrared inspections prior to offering coverage and annual follow ups to maintain rated coverage. Performing an IR Inspection may also reduce annual insurance premiums which in many cases will offset the cost of the inspection.
DTS can be an asset to any insurance/risk management group considering the implementation of a proactive Infrared Inspection program.
DTS does not contract out IR inspection work. All our inspections are performed by full time personnel employed directly by DTS. This allows us to preserve the integrity of the inspection process and maintains continuity between multi location clients that is not possible when sub-contracting inspection personnel.
