Visual Inspection
DTS incorporates visual inspection with every IR inspection we perform. Visual inspections are important to the client in many ways.
Visual inspections reveal problems that may not be thermally related, but could lead to other problems and may actually reveal the core issue related to a thermal anomaly.
Often times we see evidence of components that were extremely hot at one time, that have now cooled (usually due to failure of the component) and do not present as thermal problems at the time of the inspection.
